Our story
There’s a special kind of magic in coming back to a place that feels like home, even if it's thousands of miles away. We’ve returned to Preá, Brazil—our favorite little slice of paradise—and every day feels like a gift.
Each morning begins with that familiar rhythm: barefoot walks along the beach, the sky slowly brightening as the sun rises over the Atlantic. The sand is soft and cool, the breeze is gentle, and the waves roll in steadily, like a heartbeat from the ocean. There's nothing quite like watching the horizon light up in gold and orange while the salty air wraps around you.
As the day unfolds, so does the wind—and with it, the real fun begins. Preá is known for its strong, consistent winds, and when they kick in, it's time to pump the kite and head out to sea. Riding the waves with nothing but wind power and a board beneath your feet is the kind of thrill we chase. Out there, with the wide open sea stretching endlessly around us, everything else fades. It’s just you, the elements, and that incredible feeling of freedom.
This place never gets old. It grounds us. It energizes us. Whether it’s sunrise on the sand or carving through the ocean swells, every moment here reminds us why we keep coming back.
Here’s to the wind, the waves, and this beautiful corner of Brazil.
—Waves & Wind

One of the best parts about being back in Preá is seeing how far we’ve come with our kiting. This trip has been full of small breakthroughs—some of us landing their first bankrolls, dialing in smoother transitions, and feeling more confident on the strapless boards.
It’s not always clean or easy, but there’s real excitement in the progress. A better turn here, a more controlled landing there—it all adds up. We’ve spent plenty of time crashing and resetting, but those moments when something clicks make it all worth it.
Riding strapless has been especially rewarding. Learning to hold speed through turns, reading the waves better, and staying connected to the board without straps—it’s a new level of challenge, but also a new level of fun.
There’s still a lot to work on, but for now, we’re just enjoying the ride. The wind’s been good, the water’s warm, and every session leaves us a little better than the last.
